Deva Biswas

Deva was born in a teachers' family. Like many other Indian kids, Deva started practice Yoga by his own since five years old. He started loving yoga because he wanted to win the championships and thus he won many state and national level Yoga championships. He became Champion of Champions in All India Yoga Competition. Later he worked as a Judge for many national and international Yoga championships. As he came up from a Yoga competition background, he is expert in handling the alignments of the postures and the body and also the emotions. He holds a diploma in Yoga therapy and has 25 years experience of handling patients. Deva learned Yoga from many great masters. Sri Sri Ravishankar is one of them. Started his own Yoga school, Oriental Yoga Gym, in 1989 in Kolkata, India. Organized many Yoga workshops, retreats, seminars, Yoga competitions and charity programs in different countries. He is a frequent talker in radio, television and also writes column for magazines and newspapers. His passion for teaching Yoga brought him to Hong Kong in 2003. Since last 9 years, he is devoted catering this unique oriental culture in Hong Kong. His 28 years teaching career created an unique style of his own experience and also it is influenced and polished by many famous Yoga Gurus, whom he came across in his way to here.
