Class Guidelines

The practice of yoga begins from the moment you enter Pure. To create the best experience for yourself and others, please follow these guidelines:

Arriving at the Studio
Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your class to allow yourself ample time to sign-in and prepare for class. All classes start on time. Once class starts, you will not be allowed entry.

No talking
The yoga studio is a silent room. Please do not talk while in the studio and studio corridors.

No eating
Do not eat in the studio.

No shoes
Remove your shoes before entering the practice rooms. Keep your shoes in your locker. Shoe lockers are also available for rental.

No mobile phones
Turn your mobile phones off or to vibrate mode. Do not take phones into the practice rooms.

Class Booking
Class bookings can be made 2 days in advance of the class. It is important that you book your class in advance since some classes are more heavily attended than others.

We also limit our class sizes so that they are not overcrowded. If a class you wish to take is full, we will place you on the wait list and notify you of an opening as soon as possible.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel a class booking, please call the studio at least 2 hours in advance so that others can take your place. Failure to do so can result in the loss of class booking privileges.

Sign-In
You must check in at the front desk before entering the studio for class even if you have reserved a space in advance.

Please show a photo ID or your Pure card at the Front Desk in order to sign in and obtain a studio ticket for the class. Students without a ticket will not be able to take a class.

On your first visit you will be required to fill out a new student registration form. Please be sure to sign a waiver and indicate any physical injuries or special health conditions.

Personal Belongings
Pure accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of locker contents. Daily lockers are not for overnight use. Locks from any daily lockers that are kept overnight will be cut.

Preparation Before Class
We will provide everything you will need for your practice: mats, props, towels and other amenities.

Yoga is best enjoyed on an empty stomach, so eat lightly or not at all for 2-3 hours before.

Make sure to keep hydrated by drinking water both before and after class.

Tell your instructor about any injuries. This will help the instructor know how to adjust you or show you a modified pose if necessary.
