| | Class description: | Forrest Yoga is an inspiring, grounding and healing yoga practice that through intelligent sequencing, builds flexibility, strength and integrity. The practice is an intensely physical and internally focused practice that is guided by the use of breath and core exercises, encouraging you to find a deeper connection with your physical and emotional body. This class is conducted in a slightly heated room.

Bernadette's yoga journey started on an airplane while travelling to Thailand, where she cast her eyes on Vrksasana (Tree pose) being held on the edge of a cliff in a magazine. This awe-inspiring vision prompted her to set foot onto a path of holistic wellness... into the world of yoga. Having crossed paths with many amazing teachers, Bernadette is deeply inspired by Ana Forrest, creator of Forrest Yoga. After becoming a certified Forrest Yoga teacher in 2011, she continues to study with Ana and Sinhee Ye-McCabe, Forrest Yoga Mentor Teacher. Bernadette was on Ana's assisting team for the Fierce Medicine Asia Book Tour and workshops in Taiwan & Hong Kong in 2011. She also assisted Sinhee at the Asia Yoga Conference in 2011 and the 3-day Continuing Education Training in Hong Kong in 2012.
Emotional healing has always been Bernadette's passion and it is her intention to help students find their own healing. She believes that only through awareness of breaths and movement of energy in the body, the beauty of one's inward treasure hunt begins and we are able to walk the journey of self-discovery. Being her own witness of transformation through yoga practice, she feels grateful for what yoga brings.
