Lawrence
|
Lawrence is an Anusara-inspired teacher who was raised in Kathmandu, the home of the famous Shiva temple, Pushupati Nath. Growing up, he was immersed in Hindu tradition, but yoga only started to shape his adult life after he moved to Hong Kong in 2005. His buddy and band mate, Greg Kaps, took him to his first class and Lawrence hasn't looked back since.
He completed his first teacher training under Patrick Creelman in 2007 and has been studying with him since then. He also finished Absolute Yoga's training in the same year. He travels and follows Ross Rayburn for his Anusara immersions, workshops and training. Lawrence is also grateful to be learning from Nealy Fischer. And in 2011, he had the chance to meet the teacher of his teachers, John Friend. His yoga is deeply influenced by these wonderful beings.
As a practitioner and student of Anusara yoga, Lawrence teaches in the tradition of this style that he loves. He is an advocate of the 5 Universal Principles of Alignment and applies it in all aspects of his life - on and off the mat, playing his guitar, in relating to people and in love.
Lawrence invites you to step onto your mat, take a breath and pause to remember. Uncover your strength and embrace that spirit. Stay committed in that power and let this direction lead you to a celebration of your goodness.
He looks forward to sharing the light that he is carrying - the same light that has been passed on to him by his teachers and their teachers.

Lawrence's Tips
| When you are on the mat be present and give everything you have. Don't forget to breathe and smile no matter how challenging the posture will be.
