Eva started her yoga journey at the 2006 Pure retreat in Koh Samui. She found yoga to be a transformational phase in her life. And she was inspired to share her experience with others after being enlightened by the words of International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres founder Swami Vishnu-Devanada:
"You cannot change the world, but you can change yourself. And by changing yourself, you affect everyone around you in a positive way. We affect people on an individual basis. And we can only affect others once we have become peaceful ourselves."
Eva returned to Koh Samui to complete an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training. She offers thanks to her teachers Paul Dallaghan and Neil Barker, who helped her grow physically, mentally and spiritually. She continues to bear in mind their guiding wisdom:
Know why you are practising;
Learn what to practise;
Understand how to practise it;
Then continue to practise.
