In 2005, Lizzie moved to Hong Kong to pursue a career in dance. She will always be grateful for taking that step because it was here in Hong Kong that she found Pure Yoga and fell in love with the practice of yoga. Each and every day, Lizzie observed that yoga gave her added strength, energy and focus to carry out her work as a dancer. She began to feel more connected and healthier in body, mind and spirit.
A year and a half into her practice, Lizzie decided that she wanted to deepen her understanding of yoga and be able to share that knowledge with others. In 2009, she signed up for yoga teacher training at Pure Yoga under Patrick Creelman. Since then, she has continually sought out opportunities in Hong Kong and around the globe to further her insight through workshops, lectures and classes.
Yoga has helped Lizzie see the world through eyes of wonder. On the mat, it's about giving the care and attention each posture needs - as if it's the first time, every time. Off the mat, it's about appreciating the extraordinary in ordinary life. Lizzie's journey through yoga has allowed her to experience the immense beauty in all of life's wonders, from the sight of majestic redwood trees to the sound of a child's laughter.
