Ashtanga-Based Teacher Training with Clayton Horton and Dylan Bernstein
200-hr Yoga Alliance Certified Programme
Hong Kong - Tsim Sha Tsui
1 February ¡V 3 March, 2010

This comprehensive training roots its curriculum in: Ashtanga Vinyasa in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, South India

Yet teaching yoga today requires a broad perspective. To build a full, expansive practice and knowledge base, this course will also call upon other established yoga traditions, including:
  • Jnana Yoga: Explorations of Global Yoga Philosophy from Indian, East Asian, and Western traditions
  • Green Yoga: Environmental awareness intertwined with the traditional teachings of yoga
  • Karma Yoga: Selfless service, helping others for a better and kinder world
  • Raja Yoga: Developing self-awareness through meditation
  • Bhakti Yoga: Heart-opening devotional practices
This Teacher Training provides students with traditional yoga practice in a modern setting that provides health, peace and greater happiness. Ultimately, this path leads the student to find their own balance with nature and realise their individual potential as human beings.

Taught mainly in English, with Chinese translation if required. Training manuals will be in English.
