* Morning Intensive Practice
The Morning Intensives is the daily Yoga Sadhana practice in the morning. Students will be practising Mysore-style ¡V a self-led practice not guided through each pose by the instructors¡¦ verbal cues. For students who want to build a Mysore practice but are intimidated to jump into the self-guided practice, this is a perfect bridge to a traditional, challenging self-led Ashtanga practice. Guided pranayama, sitting meditation and japa / mudra practice will also be included.
We will start off with the first week Intensives led by the instructors like normal classes. In the second week, students will progressively move into Mysore while verbal cues are given when needed. For the remaining weeks, students will find themselves practising Mysore with increasing confidence. Students will need to commit to attending with high frequency.
Morning Intensives are an integral part of the Teacher Training programme where techniques are learned, skills are sharpened and the fire of transformation is fuelled. The commitment to practice with the same group of yogi¡¦s over an extended period of time has enormous power in it.
This part of the programme is open to students who desire a life-affirming shift, but are not participating in the full Teacher Training programme. Those registered in the Full Teacher Training have this included in the programme.
