Dylan Bernstein had the good fortune to be introduced to Yoga and Zen meditation in 1988. Over the last 21 years, he has called upon the practice to engage the body, still the mind and study the soul. Lifelong interests in Asian philosophy, religion and poetry have inspired him to leave American soil and live all over Asia since 2001. During one of the years in India, he encountered Vijay Amar, who introduced him to Ashtanga Yoga and trained him to teach. Since then, he has been lucky enough to study under many of the world's senior Ashtanga teachers.
His recent years have been spent travelling and teaching through a multitude of European and Asian locales. He feels blessed to be spending an entire year in Hong Kong, working closely with the Ashtanga Sangha, teaching with an emphasis on meditative and internal alignment.
