Requirements
Students who are interested in participating should bear in mind that this will be a physically and emotionally demanding programme. It will require a strong commitment and personal sacrifice, as well as the support of the student's primary support network. We emphasise that this programme may not be for everyone.
Interested students must:
- Have a deep desire to learn and personally explore the deeper dimensions of yoga
- Have a minimum 12 months of regular yoga practice
- Be free of major injuries going into the programme
- Have a coachable attitude and follow codes of conduct for the programme
- Be fully committed and understand that 100% full attendance is required
- Be willing to forgo most other personal or professional commitments for the duration of the training
- Submit a brief 250-word essay on the online application form describing "Why I want to teach yoga" or if you do not intend to teach:"Why I want to take this training"
We are committed to you getting full value from your training. It is important that you complete the preparatory reading and homework prior to beginning the training. This will be sent to you upon acceptance into the programme.
Throughout the training, we highly recommend you adopt a vegetarian diet as part of the yogic lifestyle. A guideline will be sent to you upon acceptance into the programme.
Certification Requirement
Upon completion of "Take Flight: 10-Day Hot Yoga Teacher Training Immersion", you will receive a completion certification from Pure Yoga. To become a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, you will be required to fulfil a 50-hour internship after the 10-day immersion. This launches the exciting phase of being mentored to bridge what you learn into daily life and venturing into a new phase in teaching if that is something you would like to do. The internship guideline and structure will be given to you at the beginning of the training. It will consist of studying and taking classes, teaching, assisting and Karma Yoga. Your progress will be reviewed and supervised by the faculty. Upon completion of the Internship, you will be granted full certification.

- You will be notified of approval by phone/email within 3-5 working days.
- Once approved, you will also be sent a confirmation email with further details about deposit / payment and how to prepare for the programme.
