Sudhakar Dheenan
An experienced registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RTY 200).

Born and raised in India, Sudhakar started his spiritual and physical pursuit of yoga at the age of 11. Through apprenticeship under the famous yogi Swami Chandrananda, he was enlightened with profound knowledge of yoga and started his teacher training at the age of 15. He received his primary training at the renowned Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre with the awarded title of "Yoga Bhaskara" (Best teacher) and was literally the youngest yoga teacher. In 2001, he received another accolade of ˇ§Yoga Yogacharyaˇ¨ (Master of Yoga M.Y.) for his outstanding performance both as a student and a teacher trainer.

With a mission to broaden yoga's appeal, Sudhakar has trained over 10,000 students at his own institute in India and in Hong Kong. Two of his students were selected for the world cup Olympics 2005, and another two from Hong Kong were the champion and first runner-up in the Yogasana Competition at the recent 14th International Yoga festival, organised by the Government of Pondicherry. The challenging, exciting and invigorating nature of his classes often attract a crowd of regular students and newcomers.

Dr. M. Madhavan
Anatomy & Physiology

Madhavan was born in Karur in the south of India. After acquiring a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Venkatramana Ayurvedic Medical College in Madras and PG Diploma in Yoga Therapy from Indian Yoga Institute in Bangalore, he attended the famous International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta TTC and was awarded the title of Yoga Siromani in 1994.

In the years to follow, he pursued his passion and intensive study in Yoga at Sivananda Vedanta Centers in India and received the honorable titles of Yoga Acharya and Yoga Bhaskara. He was also appointed District Yoga Coach for the Government of Tamilnadu, India in 2007.

More than 50 of his students have been champions and gold medallists of several International Yoga Competitions and he currently runs the Vivekananda Institute of Yoga Therapy in Karur.
