About Sathya

Sathya was raised in a family that shared a great love and respect for eastern philosophy & spirituality. He chanted his first Mantra as soon as he could speak his first word. Yoga & Meditation have been part of his life since early childhood. His many years of living in India have given him great insight into the power of sanskrit mantra, the ancient wisdom of Yoga, and the Art of devotional chanting. Being blessed to enjoy close contact with some of the greatest spiritual Masters alive today inspired him to live and share the path of Bhakti Yoga that expresses itself through his sacred music.

Sathya, a Yoga Acharya in the Sivananda Tradition, travels around the world to lead concerts and spiritual retreats. In 2009, Sathya visited 11 countries to share the healing power of Mantras. He uses meditation & chanting as tools to open the heart and guide us into our inner stillness. Sathya is currently establishing a worldwide network with 108 sacred circles, where people host regular meetings to chant, meditate and enjoy Satsang.

Sathya says:
"I see myself more as a singing yogi rather than a musician. This music is a prayer in celebration of spirit. It's the voice of the heart that sings it's own song. Chanting is the joy to express our truth, our love for the divine, our longing & gratitude. Forgetting ourself in devotional singing is highest meditation. It's the moment where we reach out to just be...out of the mind, into the heart. To be there, in this sacred space of inner stillness and share that presence with others is what this "music" is all about. Through chanting we reach the place where we are One; we taste the sweetness of divine connection... Bliss Divine".
