Wendy Wyvill
Teaching yoga came naturally to Wendy, since she had always taught what she loved.
Her yoga training started in 2001 with Bikram in L.A. She loved the heated practice for its ability to wring out her body pains, clean up her cluttered mind and cleanse her soul. Years later in California, Wendy began studying Kundalini Yoga and eventually took a teacher training course. She loved the spiritual aspect and unique practice, and welcomed the California lifestyle, trading in snowboarding for her new love of surfing. She sees surfing as a surrender to all fears, in addition to practising breath and patience - just like yoga. Later, she fell in love with the Vinyasa practice and took Baron Baptiste teacher training levels 1 + 2, completed Baron's Boot Camps in Mexico, and was his teacher's assistant for Boot Camps and Yoga Conferences.
Before moving to Hong Kong, Wendy's hometown was Whistler and Vancouver B.C. Canada, where she taught at Neoalpine, YogaPod, and Yaletown Yoga studios.
"For me, life is one big adventure – an adventure of this planet and even the smaller adventure of one's self. Teaching and practising yoga has shown me the many beauties and blessings life has to offer."
Dawnette Hidley
A native of Hawaii who has lived in Hong Kong for the past 6 years, Dawnette has 8 years of yoga practice and Baron Baptiste teacher training levels 1 + 2 under her belt. Her other teachers include Patrick Creelman and Ana Forrest.
"It is my belief that yoga accesses and ignites that which is already within, truly a healing process. All that is required of us as practitioners is to allow the layers of past conditioning to melt away to reveal and live our truth. Yoga breeds awareness."
