Lisa

Lisa
Lisa discovered her passion for yoga when she was studying in Hawaii. She returned to Hong Kong in late 2001 and continued practising yoga at Pure shortly after they first opened. In summer 2006, she took her first yoga teacher training with Patrick Creelman at Pure Yoga. She then continued her studies with Ana Forrest, creator of Forrest Yoga, graduating from Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training in 2007 and Advanced Teacher Training in 2009. She is currently an associate Forrest Yoga teacher.

Yoga has given Lisa tremendous benefits and experiences in her life both physically and mentally. She realised that yoga brought her vital energy and made her feel healthy and peaceful, which she believes are the foundation for a happy and joyful life. She also learned to better understand her body through regular asana practice, pranayama and meditation. She is eager to pass on these benefits, share her experiences with others, help more people gain from this ancient knowledge and do her part in "Mending the Hoop of the People" (Forrest Yoga).

Lisa's personal mantra is "BE HUMBLE, BE TRUTHFUL, LEARN AND GROW". For anyone who wants to reap the full benefits of yoga, she shares the key principles learned from her respectful teachers - have a good attitude and a compassionate heart. She believes that teaching yoga is not just guiding her students through sequences. It is a continuous process of growing and evolving together with them.
