Following the vinyasa portion of the class, participants go through a specific series of stationary poses. Each class also includes breathing exercises, chanting, deep relaxation, meditation and a brief philosophical discourse. Dharma yoga is designed for students to practice easily and make rapid progress towards the ultimate goal of yoga. Students new to the style can expect a concentrated yet playful practice space, rooted in the foundational principle of yoga: ahimsa, or non-violence. Students are encouraged to come to the practice free of expectations, without any sense of competition or judgment.

Morgan
|
Originally from Canada, Morgan has been living in Asia since 2006. A chance encounter in 2007 sparked an interest in Morgan to try yoga - That spark quickly ignited into a flame.
Morgan's passion for yoga has developed in stages. Being an athlete, Morgan was initially drawn to the sheer physicality of practicing yoga and enjoyed the raw challenge of learning new poses. Morgan then began to appreciate the improvement in her mental well being from practicing yoga, which has had a tremendous calming effect on her. Most importantly, Morgan has gained an inner peace through practicing yoga.
Morgan's passion for yoga has inspired her to complete teacher-training courses in both contemporary and classical styles of yoga. Morgan feels blessed to be connected to and learn from many talented teachers. |
