Laura

Laura
Laura's yoga journey began when she was in elementary school. She picked up a yoga book at home and saw many difficult postures that she thought people couldn't achieve. Seeing those photos, she actually believed that they were fake. Every posture was accompanied by a therapeutic function in the book. So her knowledge of yoga at that time was about fitness and a variety of strange images.

After starting to work, Laura looked for something to relax her body and relieve life's pressure, like most city dwellers. This brought her back in touch with yoga and made her start to practise Asana again. In yoga, she found relaxation for body and mind, and she found it so convenient to practise anytime and anywhere -- there was no limitation of time or place After she was exposed to yoga philosophy, she realised that yoga was not only physical fitness but also a mental exercise and purification of the heart.

Throughout her years of practice, she sometimes encountered uncertainty, like a drowning person looking to find floating wood in the sea. After meeting Master Andrey Lappa who considered that different Dharma and Karma existed in each individual, Laura was led on the right path and found the perfect yoga practice for herself.

Now her regular practice includes Universal Yoga series and the Dance of Shiva (Shiva Nata). These practices deepen her understanding of consciousness control and lead her yoga practice to greater heights. Laura is determined and excited to share her wonderful yoga experience with everyone she meets.

"There are more than 10 explanations for the meaning of Yoga. There are also plenty of ways to practise Yoga. We, as human beings, are lucky to have the opportunity for enlightenment. Choose a proper path and practise diligently - make this your task in life. Great thanks to Guru Andrey Lappa. Om, Shantih."
