Session I: Introduction of Jala Neti and practice
10:00am - 12:30pm
Neti removes all the dirt and bacteria-filled mucus from within the nose, while helping to drain the sinus cavities. It has a cooling and soothing effect on the brain by drawing out excessive heat and is therefore beneficial for headaches, migraines, epilepsy, temper tantrums, hysteria, depression and general mental tension.
Session II: Introduction of Pranayama (AshtaKumbhaka)
2:00pm - 4:30pm
Better functioning of one's autonomic system improves the working of lungs, heart, diaphragm, abdomen, intestines, kidneys and pancreas. The digestive system improves and its associated diseases are cured.
27 May (Sunday)
Session III: Introduction of Sutra Neti and Practice
10:00am - 12:30pm
The benefits are the same as Jala Neti, only the way of practice is different.
Session IV: Introduction of Retentions (Kumbhaka)
2:00pm - 4:30pm
A look at the details of Internal and External Retention and Practice, which can have a wonderful influence on preventing and removing a wide variety of diseases. | About Sanjeev Kumar |
|---|
Specialising in Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Psychology and Yoga Therapy, Sanjeev began his yoga training in 1992 under the guidance of his uncle Dr. Guruji Basavaraj Hadagali, the Founder of Shree Krishna Yoga Center in Karnataka (India). In 2001, he obtained a P.G. Diploma in Yoga Studies after a 1-year course at Karnataka University Dharwad.
Sanjeev has more than 11 years of teaching experience in India, as well as 5 years in Hong Kong. After getting his Commerce degree in 1999, he went to Dharwad for higher studies. He was working toward diplomas in Computer Software and in Yoga Studies with no intention of becoming a full-time yoga teacher - at first. But his enthusiasm grew with his knowledge of Yoga life, Yoga Philosophy and Yoga Psychology. After fulfilling his yoga course, he never looked back as he became fully involved in developing his life as a yoga practitioner and teacher.
Subsequently, Sanjeev participated in various District Level and State Level Yogasana Competitions in Karnataka State and won several awards. His highest achievement is having been selected 3 times (2001 - 2003) to be a representative in All India Inter-University Competitions. The experiences from these events strengthened his resolve to teach yoga full-time.
"Yoga is not a length of Life - it is a depth of Life. You just do it and results will be definitely, appear but we just need to wait for the right time. Yoga truly changes your mind and lifestyle - because it certainly changed mine."
