Jill was first introduced to yoga in 2003 in the Pure Yoga studios in Hong Kong. The journey began and she has never looked back! Jill is so grateful to have discovered so many amazing teachers at Pure so early on in her practice and is always thankful for their profound wisdom and gentle guidance.

Jill is grateful to her very first yoga teacher Varun Veer who not only introduced her to a classical hatha asana practice, but also to the initial stages of meditation. Jill continued her meditation practice with Yoganidhi Frances until she left Hong Kong in 2010 to begin her training as a teacher at Pure Yoga New York where she was so lucky to find Yogi Charu. Yogi Charu continues to be Jill's mentor and he has since introduced her to the great scholar-practitioner Joshua M Greene with whom she studied the Bhagavad Gita.

Jill teaches classical hatha, holding poses long enough to observe the body, the thoughts and most importantly our connection to the breath. She teaches her students in a relaxed atmosphere with gentle encouragement, kindness and humour. Jill's overall intention is to help her students to be the best they can be and most importantly, to always be grateful.
