Teachers > Vivian Williams
Vivian first stepped onto the yoga mat in 2012 while she was an avid runner representing her polytechnic on the track and field team. She came to yoga with the intention of finding a static practice to complement her dynamic lifestyle but later discovered that yoga is much more than just physical exercise. Yoga has provided Vivian with personal growth and useful tools to overcome her eating disorder during hard times.
Vivian was blessed to cross paths with and learn from her first 2 teachers Mitzi Madhuri and Yun Ng-Araud from Pure Yoga Singapore, who have rooted the fundamentals of her yogic practice. Both Mitzi and Yun have also humbled and influenced her to use yoga as a force for positive change, and practising awareness, compassion and kindness in and out of the yoga studio. More importantly, Vivian’s students are her greatest teachers, constantly inspiring her to learn and grow.
Vivian’s classes are welcoming, empowering and uplifting. Her teaching seeks to build physical and mental strength and help her students feel a sense of groundedness and well-being. She hopes to share her practice with like-minded practitioners in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Her greatest desire is that students will leave her class in a lighter and happier tone than when they walked in.
