4 weeks to find your handstand with Sean Robinson and Laura Beu

Starstreet Precinct – Wan Chai 23 March – 20 April

4 weeks to find your handstand. Let’s be honest, 4 weeks is not enough time to perfect your handstand. Good things take time and handstands are great.

However, under the right guidance and a personalised programme, 4 weeks can be transformative. One off classes are fun but to optimise progress, consistency is key. Everyone’s handstand journey is different and there is no one-size-fits-all approach, however, you can expect the following:

Students will receive:
- A personalised handstand programme to guide their practice during and after the workshops end
- An Arpi handstand mat
- A lot of tailored instruction with two teachers and controlled capacity

Pre-requisite:

  • Open to anyone who is currently practising or curious to start practising handstands.
  • No serious wrist or shoulder injury.

Sean Robinson

Originally advised to try yoga in 2014 to manage stress and heal from BMX-related injuries, Sean found a sense of stillness and challenge that resonated with him. He's been teaching in India, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong, with a focus on Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga. Drawing on his background as a Speech and Language Pathologist, Sean emphasises effective communication in his classes, deconstructing complex poses and empowering students to advance their practice through understanding the rationale behind techniques and poses.

Laura Beu

Laura, a journalist and former international model, started her yoga journey in 2015, deepening her practice in a Manchester studio. Returning to Hong Kong, she explored yoga philosophy under Andy Willner's guidance and completed a life-changing 200-hour Foundation Training for Teachers with Patrick Creelman and Rinat Perlman in 2017. Offering dynamic, alignment-based classes, Laura helps students connect with their bodies, aspiring to share the self-awareness, grounding, and strength she gained from her own yoga practice.
