About the Course
While there are many yogis who are wise enough to know the path, there are few who have actually cultivated the ability to walk the path. You may ask: What path is that anyway?
It’s the reason you were born. We came here as individuals, each for a unique purpose, and the ability to walk our unique path cannot be dictated by a power higher than our true selves. It all comes back to your capability to hear the subtle whisper of divine truth that emanates from deep within you!
In this 5-day journey of asana, meditation and journaling, we will learn to drop our expectation of how things should be and wake up to our true brilliance. We will realise the gifts we have to offer our community and the many ways in which the world is already supporting our joyful evolution.
Internationally known as the “Queen of Handstand,” Marysia has the global reputation of making the impossible possible. She uses the way we relate to yoga poses as practice for studying who we are and how we relate to our goals outside of the yoga studio.

Daily Schedule: 10:00am-1:00pm & 2:00pm-5:00pm
Journalling Lab (10-10:30am):
We don’t write what we know – we write to clear our minds, to discover what we know and give thanks. In this class we will discuss how you can create your own journalling habit to better support your daily sense of peace and broader feeling of empowerment. When there is an unstable feeling of worry or stress hanging over us, writing about it makes things tangible and manageable. The answers are already within you, it’s simply a matter of giving yourself a place to organise your thoughts and discover those truths. As you watch your ability to manifest your dreams develop, you will feel compelled to have a special place to give thanks for all of life’s beauty.
Meditation Lab (10:30-11am):
Meditation is amazing in its ability to enable us to remain calm and confident under any circumstance. The bigger our dreams, the more we have to be able to thrive under pressure. A key is learning how to observe our thoughts without taking them too seriously, especially when we are emotionally charged. With a clearer and broader perspective, we can make decisions and act in a manner that not only elevates our position but also those around us. Though the use of breath and mantra meditation, Marysia will give you the tools to be your best version of self.
Daily Flow (11am-1pm):
Marysia will articulate how to use your mind and body to elevate your spirit. The flows will feature masterfully crafted sequences to make peak postures such as arm balances, inversions and backbends easier to achieve. If you are intimidated, don’t be! Remember that achievement of asana isn’t the point of class; it’s a side effect of our growth. Having spent years teaching workshops all over the world, Marysia has become a master at making class both inclusive for the newer students and appropriately challenging for the more advanced students. Come with questions and goals.
At the end of class you will be given a journalling assignment allowing you to discover more about your fabulous and unique nature and how to progress more smoothly on your life path.
Asana Lab (2-5pm)
This lab is great for students eager to further their understanding and capability and also for teachers looking for more tools to offer students of varying body types. In the lab, the postures practised in the morning flow will be revisited and dissected for better understanding. When we are first learning postures, they are just general shapes. But the more we examine each body part and how it relates to the whole body, the more possibilities we become open to. As we grow increasingly aware of the possibilities our body has within each pose, we can then make better choices for our body. It’s no longer about doing the pose “correctly” because we are all built vastly differently. Instead, it’s about doing what is right for your body in the present moment.
In addition to the postures practised in the morning flow, alternate practices and preparatory techniques will be offered that are designed to make the postures more accessible. It’s not what you do that matters; it’s how you do it. And we want you to feel and look great as you enjoy the learning process.
