Laughter Yoga was introduced by Dr. Madan Kataria. It is a simple and effective way of staying positive, joyful and healthy. The beautiful thing about Laughter Yoga is that it can be practised by anyone, anywhere. It has been shown to reduce stress hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine. When laughing, the brain releases endorphins that can somewhat relieve physical pain. Laughter also boosts the number of antibody-producing cells and enhances the effectiveness of T-cells, leading to a stronger immune system.
