NEW class – TaiQi Yoga

Available now at Pure Yoga Starstreet Precinct, Asia Standard Tower, The Centrium and Peninsula Office Tower

These specialised classes combine the ancient traditions of Tai-Chi, Qigong and yoga with modern toning exercises, strengthening and alignment.

  • TaiQi Yoga 1

    Sequences are designed according to the weather – as such, different props may be used each class. Students can expect an invigorating class with cardio, balancing, core and flexibility. Some breathing exercises and meditation may be included.

    Suitable for all level of students interested in exploring this method and having an uplifting and energetic experience.  

  • TaiQi Yoga 2 (by teacher approval)

    Suitable for students with a consistent TaiQi Yoga 1 practice. To attend this class, students must have the teacher’s approval.

  • TaiQi Yoga 3 (by teacher approval)

    Suitable for students with a consistent TaiQi Yoga 2 practice. This class moves at a faster pace so students need to be familiar with the sequences. To attend this class, students must have the teacher’s approval. 

  • TaiQi Yoga Wheel

    During this class, the yoga wheel is used to help open and balance the body, while healing meditation is included as a way to calm the mind. Some breathing exercises may be included.

    Suitable for beginner students and people searching for mind and body healing.

  • TaiQi Yoga Self-Awareness

    Sequences are designed according to the weather and different props such as bolsters, straps, blocks, etc. may be used. Students can expect a balancing experience where flexibility is combined with strengthening to foster self-healing. Some breathing exercises and meditation may be included.

    Suitable for all level of students interested in balancing their bodies and mind.

  • TaiQi Yoga Meditation

    This class starts with a light physical warm up first prepares the body, after which students are guided through a style of meditation to help them increase their awareness, connect with their selves and cleanse negative energy. Some simple breathing exercises may be included.

    Suitable for all levels of students interested in increasing awareness and self-connection through meditation.
