Yoga for Insight and Clarity Immersions with Rinat Perlman

Rinat has been teaching yoga since 2006 and has had the privilege of meeting and teaching thousands of students worldwide.

 

In 2020, Rinat is looking forward to sharing her knowledge, experience, insights and practice. She will offer a series of workshops and trainings including seasonal immersions, special programmes for yoga teachers, and a part-time 200-hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training.

18 & 19 April – All levels (12 hours)

25 & 26 April - Intermediate/Experienced students (12 hours)

A welcoming, supportive as well as challenging environment in which to practise, study and explore yoga for body, mind and heart. This training will include:

 

  • Full practices of Asana (postures)
  • Introduction to Pranayama (breathing exercises)
  • Introduction to basic inversions – Sirsasana (headstand) & Sarvangasana
  • Presentation of basic concepts in Yoga and their corresponding concepts in modern psychology and how both are present in everyday life
  • Discussion and guidelines for further practice in class and at home

 

 

Intermediate/experienced students

 

  • Full Asana practices
  • Exploration of the body for the sake of health, keeping fit and maintaining flexibility with an intention of penetrating the inner body more deeply when one’s mind becomes immersed in the asana 
  • All families of asana will be included
  • Pranayama practices
  • Lectures and discussions on Yoga, yoga philosophy, and the application and influences on one’s everyday life practically, emotionally and intellectually

  • Full practices of Asana (poses)
  • Basic Pranayama (breathing exercises)
  • Arm balance poses – further techniques to perform poses with accuracy and ease
  • Lectures and short discussions on concepts in yoga philosophy based on the book: “Light on Yoga” by B.K.S Iyengar

 

Intermediate/experienced students –

 

  • Full Asana practices
  • Pranayama practices
  • All families of asana will be included
  • Lectures and discussions on the concepts of Dynamic Extension and Relaxation in Yoga

Rinat Perlman is a passionate and highly experienced yoga teacher. Teaching since 2006, she has studied with several of the world’s most cherished teachers in numerous teacher trainings, advanced trainings and through annual participation in their long-term programmes. She has also been a leader off the mat, as studio manager at Pure Yoga The Centrium for 9 years and by conducting a mentorship programme for new teachers.
 
Rinat also holds higher degrees in business and counselling and has a private practice as a psychotherapist.
 
Rinat’s teaching is infused with enthusiasm to share the knowledge and insights that have come through her sustained practice and study of yoga – specific aspects of interest being physical practice, philosophy, and modern psychology. Her teaching is direct, dynamic, focused, engaging and light-hearted, offering a vast resource for understanding the potential of yoga practice. Her aspiration is that students leave her classes with fearlessness in their hearts, having touched a deeper level of themselves.
