Inner Retreat + Prana Flow – A Pranayama & Meditation CET with Wendy Wyvill

Retreat 1-14 May, Prana Flow CET 1 & 8 May

Join Wendy Wyvill for a 14-day inward journey into Pranayama/Breathwork and meditation. This inner retreat to learn breathing and meditation techniques will be in the comfort of your own home. Live morning zoom sessions will set the tone for your day (recorded for practice at your own pace if you cannot attend live) and evening pre-recorded sessions to practise on your own daily schedule. Some gentle Asana will be included.

Pranayama and meditation are ancient yogic practices that help bridge the mind to the body. Pranayama is controlling, regulating and observing the breath and is a wonderful prelude towards meditation. Breathwork is a modern-day term for Pranayama, which focuses more on science-based evidence of how functional and dysfunctional breath affect our overall health. Meditation is the act of being in the present moment. When we are in the present moment, we can get to know ourselves better, observe our tendencies, and learn to re-pattern our actions that don’t serve us with the ones that do. These self-care practices are helpful for our mental wellness, giving us a healthier perspective on life.

Why take this training?
Practising these 14 days will help to set up a healthy habit. Changing the way that you breathe will help with blood pressure, heart rate, digestive upset, acid reflux, spine health, detoxification, inflammation, anxiety and stress. These daily practices will really alter your life!

What to expect / schedule
· Daily live Zoom session every morning at 730 – 830am (available 72 hours after)
· Daily pre-recorded evening mediation will be sent to your inbox to be practised daily on your own before bed.

Join Wendy for a deep dive into the world of PRANA. A 10-hour exploration of yoga Asana and Pranayama and Meditation with a modern twist of scientifically proven breathing techniques and respiratory health. Learn about functional and dysfunctional breath, what your breathing style is and how to improve it. Explore PRANA and subtle body anatomy. Learn Respiration 101, gas basics, nervous system health and meet your very important breathing anatomy.

Great for Yoga teachers or any practitioners who have an interest in learning more about Asana, Pranayama, meditation and breathing. Make sure you also sign up for the 14-day Inner Retreat to learn more on daily Pranayama and meditation techniques.

To be taken with the 14-day Inner Retreat or on its own. (Best to be taken together, especially if you are interested in Yoga Alliance credits and to deepen your understanding of respiratory health and build your practice)

Wendy is a breath-centred vinyasa yoga teacher with great experience in Pranayama and meditation. She is also a Breath-Certified coach by Dr Belisa Vranich of The Breathing Class ™ . She believes deeply in the power of Prana and connecting to subtle body awareness. Wendy hopes to ignite your passion for better breathing on and off the mat and give you the tools to deal with life’s daily stresses.
