Kirtan – The Medicine of Mantra with Punnu Wasu Featuring Dileep Puliyolly

Dive into the sacred ocean of Kirtan with Punnu Singh Wasu and his musician Dileep Puliyolly and enjoy a unique concert of various Indian music flavours.
Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting with roots that go back thousands of years to India. It is a form of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion), and these ancient chants (mantras) are energetic sound formulas, which have a powerful transformative healing energy. Kirtan has the power to dig into the heart’s deepest well to touch and be touched by the divine presence.
Punnu’s musical style is a mix of East meets West, an Indian Fusion. The concerts he leads often build from a slow, meditative tempo to a fast-paced catharsis. He has a remarkably soulful voice that touches the deepest chord in even the most casual listener and it is common for his audiences to clap their hands or stand up and dance during his concerts.

Punnu Wasu was born and raised in India and into a family that has a true love for kirtan and spirituality. From an early age, he was interested in learning and practising meditation. He has studied with different masters in different ashrams and yoga and meditation schools all over India. Punnu shares his profound knowledge and rich experience of over 35 years in his classes and training sessions globally.
