Life is what you make it – and we’re set to liven things up with new special class series at all PURE Yoga studios starting June. 


  • Stand in Power Series

Starts 1 June

Pillar: Specialised

Level: Level 1

This series is designed to help you come into a space of strength and resilience. Over 4 weeks, we will be exploring ways to set a strong foundation from the ground up – working the major muscles, firing up the core, and breaking down techniques to elevate your arm balances and inversions. This series builds strength in your practice, challenging both their physical and mental body. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.

Suitable for regular yoga practitioners looking to take their practice to the next level. These classes include arm balances and inversions and are taught with modifications to allow different levels of practitioners to grow their practice. 


  • Backbend Series

Back Strength | Shoulder & Chest Opening | Stronger Backbends

Starts 5 June

Pillar: Specialised

Level: 1

This 3-part series illustrates how backbends can be challenging for a lot of us but with the correct preparation and approach, results can be rewarding and motivating. Back-bending is not only about flexibility – it is about strength in our back and surrounding spine muscles so that we can dive into deeper backbend postures safely. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.

Suitable for yoga students seeking to improve their backbend practice. A wide range of backbend poses and modifications will be given to allow for different levels of practitioners. Props like two blocks, a strap, and the wall may be used.


  • Core Series

Core Matters | Core Values | CoreOrdination

Starts 5 June

Pillar: Specialised

Level 1


This 3-part series is designed to help you become more aware of your core. Different techniques and poses will work on the entire core muscle group, helping you to improve back stability, general balance and coordination. The overall result is a better connection of your body and mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.

Suitable for yoga practitioners looking to improve their connection to their core.


  • Stretch & Breathe Series

Hips & Hamstrings | Neck & Shoulders | Spine Mobility

Starts 5 June

Pillar: Healing

Level: Gentle


This 3-part Healing series focuses on stretching specific areas of the body while using breathwork. The breath helps to ease tension in your entire being – energising and detoxifying the body and anchoring the mind while the pose is being practised. Students can expect gentle stretching poses that will help nourish the body and restore the mind. Some chanting and meditation may be included.

Suitable for all levels of practitioners looking to stretch their bodies with moderate physical effort while connecting body and mind through the breath.


  • Split Series

Journey into Front Splits | Journey into Standing Splits | Journey into Side Splits

Starts 6 June

Pillar: Specialised

Level: Level 1


This 3-class series uses a step-by-step approach to guide you into the full splits and its most common variations. You will learn lead-up stretches, tips and modifications to ensure a safe and strong splits practice. The front splits, or hanumanasana, is a great pose for stretching the thighs, opening the hip flexors, deepening body awareness, and developing perseverance and patience in your yoga practice. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.

Suitable for students with some yoga experience looking to have an invigorating practice. Classes are taught with modifications to allow for students with varied flexibility levels.

Do remember that once you book and attend an in-studio class, your membership will automatically be reinstated on the next Autopay. Prepaid memberships will continue as normal if a class is booked and attended, and no extra days will be added to your contract.
