TCM & Yoga Wellness with Dagge Ong & Dr.Clement Ng

(The Meridian Study for Yoga Practitioners)

18 & 25 Sept, 2 & 9 Oct (Wednesdays)


Similar to traditional TCM Qigong practices, Yoga is an ancient oriental art form for strengthening the body’s vital energy. It works to improve, strengthen or propel “Qi” or 'energy' to different parts of the body systems, which in turn leads to better recovery time, higher energy levels, a more robust immune function and improved restoration of balance to our body.  Good movement uses the mind or the mental strength to guide the Qi (以意引气), and the positive effects can be enhanced through the understanding of the meridian theory and executing the movements along the meridian pathway.  


The TCM Meridian – Collateral theory together with Acupuncture is a recognised therapeutic modality approved by the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) with proven efficacy in the treatment of a variety of ailments. The Meridian Study for Yoga Practitioners is targeted at Yoga practitioners as well as those who are actively promoting healthy lifestyle activities and can be an excellent complement to your yoga practice.


Course Objectives

This course is designed to equip Yoga Practitioners with the knowledge of Meridian – Collateral systems in our body, understanding of the pathways and flow of the different meridians, and the application of the meridians in Yoga Practice. It also seeks to allow practitioners to incorporate such knowledge in complementing and enhancing their practice. 


The practitioner will:

  1. Learn the fundamentals of TCM Meridian – Collateral systems


  1. Learn the functions of Meridian Qi and energy pathways


  1. Identify the management of illnesses


  1. Apply the knowledge in yoga practice


  1. Appreciate the applications of Meridian – Collateral Systems



Modes of Learning:

  1. Facilitation, Lecture
  2. Practical, inclusive of yoga practice, Qigong and Meridian Point Compression, etc.
  3. Discussions and Hands-On Guidance/ Practice

*Taught in English with Mandarin interpretation (课程以英文授课,中文口译).


Schedule and Description

This 12-hour course consists of 4 modules that can be taken in full or on their own as individual modules. 

Participants who have completed the full course will receive a 'Certificate of Completion' and a complimentary Gua Sha scraper (凡参加所有课程的学员,将获得证书及刮痧板一个).


Module 1- Fundamentals of TCM Meridian: Collateral Systems (中医经络基础学)
