Teacher Training

WILDLOTUS: 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Patrick Creelman

WildLotus 300-Hour Teacher Training Programme aims to transform all participants with 3 main goals:

  • Expand your Yoga practice
  • Deepen your understanding of Yoga
  • Stabilise and mature your teaching from a clear position of values and skill

WildLotus 300-hour Teacher Training is a Professional Teacher Certification Programme. This programme offers a cohesive, multi-specialist approach to teacher training that blends the best of the yoga tradition from the east and the west. Our faculty are highly-trained, experienced, inspiring professionals with a profound understanding of the transformative power of Yoga.

WildLotus 300-hour Teacher Training aims to deepen the direct experience of yoga for yoga teachers. Our programme emphasises students’ personal practice as the source of their teaching and includes a comprehensive study of the techniques and mechanics of the fundamental postures as well as the tools necessary to teach and inspire others. To deepen their education, students will also study functional anatomy and physiology; explore Yoga’s key philosophical teachings in a practical way; practice meditation and pranayama; engage in the practice of hands-on adjustments; study group management and strong leadership skills.

WildLotus methodology will be presented and explored during practice sessions, teaching sessions, student-to-student assessments, and discussions to create sincere understanding and authenticity for teaching. This includes the mastery of asana alignment and prop use learned from the Iyengar School, sequencing knowledge from the Vinyasa/Flow approach, and the transformative element of Hot Yoga. Essentially the Iyengar school provides us with the methodology of precise anatomical and physical alignments and instructions as well as the profound understanding and application of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali. The vinyasa and hot practice methodologies incorporate heat and flow into a dynamic approach to class programmes that are common starting points for teachers and students alike.

Yoga Alliance Accredited School

Pure Yoga is a registered school with Yoga Alliance. Our teacher training programmes and teachers are internationally accredited, have exclusive recognition and qualify for the 200-hr & 300-hr Yoga Alliance Certification.

Yoga Alliance is an international governing board for yoga teachers and training programmes in the U.S. and globally. Graduates of our programme are automatically eligible to register as a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance. Becoming a RYT means having a higher profile and gaining international recognition as a yoga teacher, attributes that many hiring studios look for.

Mission Statement

We offer this training in an effort to grow our community of committed yoga practitioners, empowering those who demonstrate dedication to a personal practice, by sharing the knowledge, skills and tools we have learned so they too can start teaching yoga.

We intend to guide trainees towards a healthy self-confidence, while at the same time invoking in them a sense of humility and excitement, knowing that they are at the beginning of a long journey.
