About the Course

In this Hatha-based 20-hour programme, Miryam will gently lead you through the foundations of yoga focusing on basic core aspects of yoga warm-ups, essential yoga postures, meditation, pranayama and relaxation. 

  

After the course, you will feel much more confident to establish a healthy self-practice, having learnt more about the foundations and ideas that are not always explained in a regular class.

   

Highly recommended for all levels.  

  

Schedule & Description

You will learn and practise meditation, breathing exercises and yoga postures. Each session finishes in a long, rejuvenating deep relaxation pose.  

  

Friday, 19 February 

6:30pm to 8:30pm

 

Saturday & Sunday, 20 & 21 February 

8:00am to 6:00pm

  

The programme structure is as follows: 

  • Welcome and introduction 
  • Meditations (different forms) 
  • Breathing exercises (pranayama) 
  • Yoga practice 
  • Break down the most common postures in a Hatha Yoga class (asanas) 
  • Learn modifications and important variations of asanas 
  • Q & A
  • Deep relaxation
