WILDLOTUS: 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with Patrick Creelman
The WILDLOTUS 300-Hour Teacher Training Programme aims to transform all participants with 3 main goals:
- Expanding your personal yoga practice significantly
- Deepening your understanding of Yoga and other key concepts
- Stabilising and maturing your teaching from a clear position of values and skills
This is a Professional Teacher Certification Programme, offering a cohesive, multi-specialist approach that blends the best of the yoga tradition from the east and the west. Our faculty are highly-trained, experienced, inspiring professionals with a profound understanding of the transformative power of Yoga.
The training aims to deepen the direct experience of yoga for yoga teachers and advanced practitioners. Our programme emphasises students’ personal practice as the source of their teaching and includes a comprehensive study of the techniques and mechanics of the fundamental postures as well as the tools necessary to teach and inspire others. To deepen their education, students will also study functional anatomy and physiology; explore Yoga’s key philosophical teachings in a practical way; practice meditation and pranayama; engage in the practice of hands-on adjustments; study group management and strong leadership skills.
The training's proven reliable methodologies will be presented and explored during practice sessions, teaching sessions, student-to-student assessments, and discussions to create sincere understanding and authenticity for teaching. This includes the mastery of asana alignment and props usage learned from the Iyengar School, sequencing knowledge from the Vinyasa/Flow approach, and the transformative element of Hot Yoga. Essentially the Iyengar school provides us with the methodology of precise anatomical and physical alignments and instructions as well as the profound understanding and application of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali. The vinyasa and hot practice methodologies incorporate heat and flow into a dynamic approach to class programmes that are common starting points for teachers and students alike.
